As we move into the new year, many of us will be looking at how we can revamp our homes to suit our lifestyles that now involve spending a lot more time in them. An article for Forbes recently picked out some of the top interior trends to look for in the coming 12 months.
Among them is a resurgence in popularity of curved sofas and loveseats. Senior design manager at Wayfair Professional Rebecca Breslin told the publication that these types of furnishings are a great way to “soften and relax” the atmosphere in a room.
“Rounded furnishings and other elements offer a sense of clarity, precision and freshness to a space. This trend feels almost Parisien, where art meets design, with clean lines, light neutrals and soft features,” she stated.
If you’re looking for luxury sofas in Chelsea, London that are on-trend for 2021 and beyond, it’s certainly worth exploring the curved designs available.
It’s also worth spending money on high-quality furniture and other pieces for your home, with the news provider noting that 2021 will be all about “quality over quantity” when it comes to our interiors.
Meanwhile, emerald green is named as one of the most popular colours that will be making its way into our home decor this year, primarily through accessories and furnishings, although some people may also be keen to introduce colours to their walls and other aspects of their interiors too.
Back in August, Ideal Home highlighted some of the top interior trends that were proving popular on Instagram as we all redesigned our homes to suit our new lifestyles. It picked out velvet sofas as one of the top trends to watch and this could be carried through into 2021.
