When you’re planning a large-scale event, you need to think about how best to provide exhibition space and areas where attendees can network and take some time out.
What’s required will vary depending on where you’re hosting your event, but in many cases marquee hire in Cheshire, or wherever you’re hosting your event, can be a good way to provide the necessary space with the minimum fuss.
One high-profile event in London has taken things to the next level, however. Yacht Harbour recently reported that the London On Water Boat Show has rebranded as the London Yacht Show for 2019.
In addition, organisers of this year’s event plan to use floating marquees to provide the necessary exhibitor space at the show. St Katharine Docks will be the location for the newly rebranded yacht show, and will feature two floating villages for the duration of the five-day event.
One of the marquees will showcase luxury yachting and lifestyle products, while the other will provide a space for exhibitors to showcase boating accessories and toys. On the docks, meanwhile, visitors will be able to browse trailer boats, bikes and luxury cars.
As part of the rebrand of the event, organisers will be running a VIP Elite Function on Wednesday 8 May to launch the show, where guests invited to the exclusive function can enjoy the floating champagne bar, as well as a concierge service and VIP lounge, the news provider noted.
If you’ve been tasked with organising a large corporate event, you may want to take some of the advice offered last month by Travel Daily Media. It shared tips on how to match your venue to your event, including thinking carefully about how easy it is for attendees to reach your venue, and whether the venue will allow you to be creative in your staging.
