The pandemic has been hard on us all but our hair has had to weather some serious storms over the last few months, with many of us trying to give ourselves haircuts and even trying out box dye for the first time. The results have certainly been interesting and it’s great to see people not letting the situation get them down.
That being said, a collective sigh of relief may well have been audible from space today (June 23rd), with the government announcing that hair salons can once again start to chop the nation’s tresses from July 4th – which is only a week or so away. Great tidings, indeed!
Of course, certain guidelines will need to be followed in order to ensure the health and safety of both staff members and customers, such as maintaining social distancing measures – which have now been reduced from two metres to 1m plus.
From a customer perspective, you will likely see your hairdresser wearing a face mask as they work and you may not be allowed to consume food or drink on the premises.
But remember – just because the salons are opening doesn’t mean you have to go and you don’t have to resume ‘normal’ life if you don’t feel comfortable or safe. You can still remain in lockdown and take it all at your own speed.
Your hair will be fine and won’t mind waiting until you do feel ready to head out into the big wide world once again – and you can always make excellent use of Remy Couture hair wefts to bridge the gap between haircuts, so you have nothing to worry about where your hair is concerned.
